Ceremonies

Evins Mill hosts wedding ceremonies at one of eleven outdoor or indoor locations. Wherever the location, Evins Mill will furnish, set-up and break-down chairs, a wedding runner and a trellis, and provide a dedicated wedding coordinator to facilitate the ceremony proceedings.

Setting

Evins Mill hosts all food & beverage related activities at the Main Lodge, where we can seat up to 175 guests in the following locations&ellips;

• Taylor Hall - seating for 80
• Dining Room - seating for 32
• Stone Room - seating for 22
• Manning Overlook (covered outdoor porch) - seating for 40

Buffets are typically set-up in the library, while bars may be set-up in a variety of locations depending on the size of the event. Evins Mill will furnish, set-up and break-down tables, linens, chairs and serving ware for up to 175 guests.

The Lodge provides a cozy and warm setting not only for rehearsal dinners & reception meals but also for the festive traditions that often accompany them, including the cutting of the cake, toasting, the first dance and the toss of the garter!

Property Rental

Property rental extends from noon/3:00 p.m. on day of arrival to noon/3:00 p.m. on day of departure and features…

• exclusive use of our Main Lodge, including the Millstone Mezzanine, Adele Commons, Evelyn Commons, Stone Room, Taylor Hall, Manning Overlook & Ivy Overlook
• exclusive use of the Gristmill, including the Davidson room, Knox room & Courtland game hall
• exclusive use of the entire forty acre property, featuring waterfalls, hiking trails, fishing ponds, streams, a recreation area & multiple ceremony locations
• one "bridal" suite w/ pampered extras, including a gift basket of premium snacks & beverages, select bath & body products, use of waffle weave robes & a rose in a ribbon-wrapped vase
• other overnight accommodations available to wedding guests at significantly discounted prices (see below)

Two Day Exclusive Rental - $3,000 to $4,000
The two day rental is designed for brides and grooms who are hosting not only their ceremony and reception at Evins Mill but also their rehearsal dinner. The two day rental price is discounted $500 to $1,000 if one of the two days includes a Sunday and/or the weekend in question does not coincide with our high season (May through November)

One Day Exclusive Rental - $2,000
The one day rental is designed for brides and grooms who are hosting their ceremony and reception at Evins Mill but not their rehearsal dinner.

Lodging

With either property rental package, Evins Mill will not rent the remaining eleven rooms to any guest who is not part of the wedding party. The Bridal suite excepted, lodging is not part of the rental pricing outlined above but is exclusively available for wedding guests at discounted rates. The Bed & Breakfast Plan includes one night’s accommodations and a hearty gourmet breakfast with omelet station for two.

A few notes on the above accommodations and package prices…

• Prices are based on double occupancy and on one night's accommodation.
• Rates for triple occupancy and for children are available upon request.
• Prices include specified lodging and meals but do not include tax or alcohol.
• Gratuity is welcome but optional.

Furnishing & Coordination

Our furnishing, consultation & coordination fee is $20 per person, is based on a minimum of 50 guests, is capped at 100 guests and includes...

• The provision of chairs, linens, servingware and other standard wedding accoutrements for up to 175 guests
• The set-up and break-down for indoor or outdoor ceremonies and receptions at designated locations
• Ten to fifteen hours (time depends on size of wedding) of pre-event consultation and on-site event coordination with our dedicated event coordinator
• Additional grounds and facility clean-up on days preceding wedding
• For weddings with more than 175 guests, there is an additional rental expense depending on the number of additional chairs, tables, linens, tents, etc. Evins Mill needs to rent

Food & Beverage

Our minimum food & beverage order for receptions and rehearsal dinners is $25 per person for events of 100 guests or less. For events with more than 100 guests, the minimum order is $20 per person.

• With the exception of the wedding cake, Evins Mill is the exclusive provider of food & beverage service.
• Tea, coffee, lemonade and ice tap water come with all food orders.
• One complimentary beverage station featuring the beverages outlined above is provided in the Main Lodge from arrival through departure.
• Other beverages such as sodas, bottled water and alcoholic beverages are available but are not included in the food order price outlined above.
• Breakfast for two is included in the price of every room.
• A 20% service charge applies to all food & beverage orders.
